Febrayer
Launched in 2012 by journalist Maria Moukrim alongside journalist Taoufik Bouachrine - owner of Akhbar Al yaoum- Febrayer is an Arabic-language news website, owned by the company Maroc 24. For a long time following its creation, this outlet was associated with the February 20th protest movement (Febrayer meaning February in Arabic), before progressively letting in other political influences.
Bouachrine left Febrayer, reselling all his shares (51%) to Maria Moukrin, to focus on the online version of his print outllet: Al Yaoum 24.
