Prior to founding Maroc Hebdo in 1990, Mohamed Selhami worked in France for sports magazine and collaborated with Radio France Internationale. He also joined the editing team of Jeune Afrique, where he did a stint from 1977 to 1990. Mr. Selhami is also co-founder of the Moroccan Federation of Newspaper Editors (Fédération Marocaine des éditeurs de Journaux [FMEJ]) as well as co-founder of the Moroccan Office of Diffusion and Justification [OJD], the organism in charge of collecting and publishing sales numbers of print publicatoin in the country.
