Mohamed Asli

Mohamed Asli is a movie director. He was part of the Al Massae venture since its creation and bought back his co-founders' shares over time. 

In 2008, Asli was involved in an obscure affair widely talked about in the media. He was called in by the police who wanted to question him. However, the accounts differ regarding the reason behind it. According to Asli, as reported in the press, he was unfairly targeted due to the fact that he owns daily newspaper Al Massae. Others have reported that it is his dealings with a Syrian man involved in an illegal immigration and money fraud scheme that got Asli in the police's radar.
