Al Idaâ Al Watania
Al Idaa Al Wataniya is Morocco’s leading national public radio station with an audience share of 6,71%. Belonging to the State-owned Societe Nationale de Radiodiffusion et de Television (SNRT), it was founded as « Radio-Maroc » in 1928, while the country was under French protectorate, and was put under the direction of the SNRT in the 1960’s, after a wave of media nationalisations due to the country reaching its independence.
It broadcasts general content programs, providing local content for listeners from the 10 following local stations: Agadir, Dakhla, Fès, Laâyoune, Marrakech, Meknès, Oujda, Tanger, Tétouan et El Hoceima.
